This is the personal web site of Michael Ridley. I am an IT professional mainly doing Java development in the distributed systems and cloud computing space. For years I worked in UNIX infrastructure and data center automation. I live in the suburbs of Washington, DC. I used to live in Silicon Valley, working at such interesting places as Silicon Graphics and as one of the first employees of the original Napster.
